PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timbering system providing the upper structure of timbering with freedom, coping with the conditions of support objects in a wide range in construction work of a building and civil engineering work and moreover usable for multiple purposes. SOLUTION: This timbering system is built up with vertical columns 1 successively extendable with flanges 11 with holes being fixed at specified spaces in a vertical axis direction; an adjustable beam frame 4 provided with locking fittings 15 connected to the flange 11 using a hole at both ends, and erected between the erected vertical columns 1; a plurality of posts 5 provided with flanges 11 with holes fixed at prescribed spaces in the vertical axis direction, and erected in the extended state on the upper end of the vertical column 1 and erected on the adjustable beam frame 4; and an extensible horizontal member 6 provided with locking fittings 15 connected to the flanges 11 of the posts 5 using the holes at both ends, to connect the adjacent posts 5 to each other. The mounted position of the post 5 on the upper bar of the adjustable beam frame 4 is selectable with the spaces of the mounting holes 20.
