PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen sensor having improved temperature increase efficiency in a section, where the inner and outer electrodes of the sensor sheet are formed by increasing the section, where the inner and outer electrodes in the sensor sheet are formed with rapid increase to a temperature at which the oxygen sensor can be operated. SOLUTION: The oxygen sensor comprises a base sheet, that is made of an insulating material where a resistance electrical heating element is embedded in the inside, an air duct sheet that is made of oxygen-ion-conductive solid electrolyte where a cutting for air ducts is formed, and a sensor sheet that is similarly made of the oxygen-ion-conductive electrolyte where electrodes are formed on both the surfaces. On the base sheet, the air duct sheet and the sensor sheet are formed in a layer successively in one piece without the intermediary of an intermediate layer. |
