PROPHYLACTIC AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT FOR COLON CANCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for colon cancer by which a cancerous change of colon cell can be suppressed and occurrence and progress of colon cancer can be suppressed, and an anticancer effect can further be promoted and anticancer therapy scarcely having adverse effect is made possible by combined use with other anticancer or radiation therapy. SOLUTION: This prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for colon cance comprises a primer composed of a conjugate of aβ-galactose acting as a substrate ofα-1, 2-fucosetransferase or an oligosaccharide havingβ-galactose group at a nonreducing end with a hydrophobia organic compound as an active ingredient.
