<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the printing efficiency of a light emitting element assembled in a printing head of an optical printer. SOLUTION: A printing head 76 comprises a carriage 70, a head substrate 77 with LEDs of different colors disposed, a panel shade 71, and an aperture 40. Reflection mirrors 84, 86 are mounted on the side facing the longer side as the light emitting surface of the LED 77R, LED 77B, and LED 77G disposed on the head substrate 77. The reflection mirrors 84, 86 have reflection surfaces 84a, 86a formed so as to collect the light outputted sideward from a light emitting part 82 to an exposing hole 40e of the aperture 40. Thereby, a direct light from the light emitting part 82 and a reflected light reflected by the reflection mirrors 84, 86 are synthesized at the exposing hole 40e so that the light amount to be directed to a printing medium 90 can efficiently be increased so as to improve the printing efficiency.</p> |
