PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design cover device for an engine capable of reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A housing case part 15 is integrally formed in an inner side face of a design cover 11 covering an upper side of a cylinder head cover of the engine. A packaging board 30 packaging electronic parts which are components of an engine control computer is housed and fixed in the housing case part 15, and a heat radiating member 40 is attached to the housing case part 15.
