PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine, with which sure massaging can be guaranteed and the strength of pressing/relaxing can be enlarged. SOLUTION: On the assumption of the massage machine, with which a massage unit is located on a backrest part 3 in a chair body corresponding to the shoulders of a human body, a unit 10a is provided with a reclining plate 30, which can be turned with a hinge shaft 29 as a supporting point, a pressing body (treatment element) 31 projected on the reclining plate, an airbag 28 for operation located on the rear side of the reclining plate 31 and expanded/shrunk by feeding/exhausting air for pushing the reclining plate 31 forward in the case of expansion and a torsion spring (energizing means) 32 foe pushing back the reclining plate 31 toward the airbag 28. Even when using the unit 10a while positioning the hinge shaft 29 under the presser 31, the reclining plate 31 is pushed back by the spring 32 and the expansion/shrinkage of the airbag 28 is linked with the forward/backward turn of the reclining plate 31.
