<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gargling device which enables a patient to efficiently suck in a liquid medicine even under a low suction negative pressure, is high in the degree of freedom in the dilution rate of water and the liquid medicine and can lessen dripping of the water at a mixer inlet. SOLUTION: This gargling device has a liquid medicine tank 3, a water nozzle 26 which is supplied with city water from a water fill 5a and spouts the water from its front end, the mixer 27 of which the inflow port at one end faces the front end of the water nozzle 26 apart a spacing L and which has a suction mixing section 33 for sucking the liquid medicine supplied from the liquid medicine tank by the flow of the water flowing in an intermediate section and for mixing the liquid medicine with the water and discharges the gargling liquid mixture composed of the water and the liquid medicine from an outflow port at the other end and a spout pipe 36 which upwardly spouts the gargling liquid from a spout at the front end. A water valve 11 to be opened by a manual operation is disposed in the middle of a water passage connecting the water fill 5a and the water nozzle 26 and a liquid medicine valve 17 having the valve closing force by a spring 18 is disposed in the middle of a liquid medicine passage connecting the liquid medicine tank 3 and the mixer 27. Linkage means 21 to open the liquid medicine valve 17 cooperatively with the valve opening by the manual operation of the water valve 11 is disposed.</p> |
