PURPOSE: A regenerative hot blaster and a control method thereof are provided to reduce heat storage hours, and to cut down energy consumption by heating with accumulated heat and compensating the used amount of heat. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative hot blaster is composed of a temperature adjusting unit setting heat storage temperature of heat storage material; a temperature detecting unit(220) detecting temperature of heat storage material; a storage heat calculating unit(280) calculating stored heat according to temperature of the heat storage material; a storage unit(290) storing information from the storage heat calculating unit; and a control unit(250) controlling a heater. Heating is performed with using heat stored in the heat storage material, and energy consumption is reduced with compensating the used amount of heat.
