PROCESS FOR PREPARING PEPTIDE FOR DECREASING BLOOD LIPID LEVEL

PURPOSE: A process for preparing a peptide for decreasing blood lipid level is provided, thereby effectively decreasing the blood lipid level to prevent diseases associated with circulatory organs and heart diseases. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing a peptide for decreasing blood lipid level comprises the steps of: dissolving a source of food protein in purified water; regulating pH of the suspension to 8 to 12; regulating the temperature of a solution to 30 to 70 deg. C and adding protease thereinto; increasing the temperature to inactivate the protease; centrifuging the reaction solution to obtain insoluble material; and drying the insoluble material with hot wind or drying it under vacuum condition, wherein the source of food protein is vegetable protein or animal protein; the protease is pescalase, papain, bromeline, trypsin and a mixture thereof.
