PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively judge the presence or absence of a psychoneurotic disease by a simple method even by not a skilled physician while the burden on an operator is reducing. SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for analyzing an electroencephalogram comprises an input unit 11 for inputting electroencephalogram data, a phase plane forming unit 12 for plotting a cerebral induction potential V and a time differential dV/dt in the input data on a V-dV/dt phase plane, a feature content calculating unit 13 for calculating an aspect ratio of a maximum value of an absolute value of the cerebral induction potential V to a maximum value of an absolute value of the time differential dV/dt as a feature content representing a relation between the potential V and the differential dV/dt, a judging unit 14 for judging the presence or absence of a psychoneurotic disease according to whether the calculated aspect ratio falls within a range between the minimum value and the maximum value of a standard value relating to the aspect ratio or not, a print controller 15 for outputting a judged result and a display unit 16. Thus, if the electroencephalogram is input, the presence or absence of a psychoneurotic disease is automatically judged, and the judged result is output. |
