GOLF CLUB AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GOLF CLUB HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club capable of reducing a loss of elastic energy in a contact plane. SOLUTION: A preparing process prepares a face member 9 being a constitutive member of a head 1 composed of metallic glass, and a head body 8 being a constitutive member of the head 1 other than the face member 9 by sintering metallic powder. A process joins the face member 9 and the head body 8 by sintering diffusive joining. The head body 8 being the constitutive member of the head 1 other than the face member 9 is formed as a sintered article with a material in the same as or close to the face member 9 as a binder phase. The contact plane of the head body 8 and the face member 9 does not become discontinuous at sintering diffusive joining time, and thus, the elastic energy is not lost. The elastic energy by deflection of the face member 9 is efficiently transmitted to a ball to lengthen a carry.
