PURPOSE: A device for sealing a cover of a hard disk drive is provided to improve sealing effect of the hard disk drive and to remove outgassing caused by utilization of bond. CONSTITUTION: A device for sealing a cover of a hard disk drive includes a gasket(100) that is composed of a sealing member(71) and a sealing metal(60). The sealing member has a sealing rail for sealing a gap between the hard disk drive cover(9) and a base(12) when the cover and base are combined with each other. The sealing metal has a shape corresponding to the sealing member in order to increase sealing effect of the sealing member. The sealing member is made of EPDM. The sealing member is placed on the sealing metal.
