PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning structure developing no sense of incompatibility in use, enabling the negative ion effect inherent in the tourmaline in the structure to effectively utilized, and having high productivity as well, and to provide a method for producing the cushioning structure. SOLUTION: This cushioning structure is obtained by incorporating powdery tourmaline 3 into a low-resilience polyurethane foam 2 having a resilience of 0.1-30%. The other objective method for producing the cushioning structure comprises the process as described above.
