PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for clothing relieving ammonia like smell even after a long time storing, excellent in stability of fragrance, detergency and slightly discoloring to yellowish-brown. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition for clothing comprises the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) an alkanolamine, (B) a perfume selected from the group of an aliphatic alcohol, terpene alcohol, acetic ester, butyric ester, ethyl heptanoate, dipentene, terpinolene, diphenyl oxide, p- methylacetophenone, dynascone, heptylcyclopentane, 1-carvone, geranylnitrile, allylcyclohexane propionate, allyl heptanoate, benzaldehyde, magnol, estragole, eucalyptol, methyl naphtyl ketone, cedryl methyl ketone or the like and (C) a nonionic surfactant and the composition has the pH of 8.5-11.0.
