METHOD FOR FILLING SLEEPER INTO BLAST FURNACE AND HANGING TOOL FOR SLEEPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for filling sleepers by which the filling work of the sleeper performed for preparing of an initial firing in a newly constructed or reconstructed blast furnace, is done with few workers and with reduced labor. SOLUTION: A wire rope 3 is hung down from a manhole for initial firing at the furnace top part in the blast furnace and a power hoist 5 is fitted to the lower end thereof. A wire rope 8 is hung from a hook 6 for hanging down of the power hoist 5, and hanging tool 9 fitted to both ends of the wire rope 8, are detachably attached to the sleeper 13. Further, the sleeper 13 hung up with the power hoist 5 is transported to a prescribed position by drawing a guiding rope 7 connected to the hook 6.
