PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection display of high image quality with which the positions and angles of optical elements are assured with high accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: The reflection optical elements 9a to 9d are positioned to a positioning member 11 by utilizing fixing means by screws, adsorptive force, etc. Next an optical casing 10a having a positioning datum plane is attached to the positioning member 11. An optical casing 10b is then positioned and attached to the optical casing 10a. The optical elements 9a and 9b are bonded to the optical casing 10a and the optical elements 9c and 9d to the optical casing 10b by means of epoxy ands, UV curing adhesives, solder, etc. The optical elements 9a to 9d are removed from the positioning member 11. Finally, the optical casing 10a and the optical casing 10b are united by each other's positioning positions without the intervention of the positioning member 11. |
