PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting programs, a method for switching programs devices of them, a recording medium and a program to enable development of a program, without causing increase of hardware costs and power consumption and capable of utilizing performance of hardware to the utmost, by providing the hardware with several bits of flags and using a compiler having a function to store information about a used register in the flags of the hardware. SOLUTION: Resource information flags for expressing the resources used by the program is provided to the hardware, the resources to be used by the program are controlled in the case of a compilation processing and resource information which the program uses is set in the resource information flags. Thus, the minimum saving and restoration processings of the resources are enabled, by referring to the resource information flag, when switching processes.
