PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine capable of efficiently regenerating a soot collecting device without changeover of an engine control state, by solving such a problem that a conventional exhaust emission control device has a constitution in which the soot collecting device is efficiently regenerated by increasing NO amount in the exhaust gas by switching the engine control state from lean to rich and thus shock of a vehicle body damages comfortableness in changing the engine control state. SOLUTION: The downstream side of the soot collecting device 4 is provided with an NOx collecting device 5 for collecting NO in the exhaust gas and a heating means 7. In regeneration the soot collecting device 4, the NOx collecting device 5 is heated by the heating means 7 to release the NO collected by the NOx collecting device 5, and the released NO is recirculated on the upstream side of oxidation catalyst 3 by a recirculating device 6. |
