PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information editing controller for realizing high-speed editing by reducing a copy operation accompanied by read/write access to a recording medium in editing video and audio data. SOLUTION: The information editing controller includes a disk control means for reading and writing data to a hard disk 107 according to the received demand of read and write, and a file editing means for editing the file of image voice data recorded in the hard disk 107 by sending a read/write demand to the disk control means 105 by the use of a file system included in the hard disk 107.
