ANTI-PILLING KNIT FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit fabric having shape stability such as crease resistance and shrink resistance and imparted with anti-pilling property having excellent resistance to industrial washing. SOLUTION: The knit fabric contains synthetic fiber multifilament yarns and cellulosic fibers in mixed state. A resin crosslinking agent is present between the synthetic multifilament yarns to sporadically bond the adjacent single fibers with each other. The cellulosic fiber is modified by crosslinking with the resin crosslinking agent to an extent to attain a crosslinking index of 1.0-4.0 wherein the crosslinking index is defined by the formula: crosslinking index = (A-B) (A is the moisture absorption (%) of the crosslinked knit fabric at 30 deg.C and 65% RH; and B is the moisture absorption (%) of the crosslinked knit fabric at 20 deg.C and 65%; RH).
