PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that easily designates tabular work appearances to be given to a tabular work preparation program. SOLUTION: This tabular work pattern designating method decomposes a table to be prepared to a title line part and a data line part formed, according to the data amount, then uses editing layout software to plot required ruled lines for the title line part and at least one data line part, arranges a character box of dummy characters, subjected to formatting for finish appearances at a cell, composed of the ruled lines and uses document data formed as a portion of the table as a tabular work pattern. |
