The agricultural straw spreading machine has rows of discs mounted on booms which are foldable to a transport position. The booms have double acting folding cylinders and the cylinders are mounted in longitudinal receiving slots (48,49) at both sides of the middle section (2). The frame side folding cylinder bolts (50,51) are slidably mounted in the slots and are connected by a pull cylinder.
