Thread extraction- and deflection tube mounted on open-ended spinning machine, includes false-twister projecting transversely and adjustably into tube

The false twister (3) is adjustable in the transverse direction relative to the thread withdrawal tube (2). Several variants for setting the transverse adjustment are described, based on the foregoing principles. These include e.g. a rotary or linear holder system for twisters (3) of differing shape and degrees of projection, facilitating exchange. These are introduced individually into the extraction tube. The support and adjustment mechanisms are further detailed. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of thread manufacture, using the extraction tube described.
