The connecting component has a holder element (2) extending from a fitting hole (S) for a pin (1) as far as a free end (E). The holder element has two pairs of opposite lying side faces which fit round the locking foot (R) of the pin so that the face pairs of the holder element and locking foot lie opposite one another. At least one side face (C1) of one side face pair of the holder element has an inwards protruding locking protrusion (8) to engage in a recess (6) formed in one side face of the pin.
