FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing silicon rubber balloon into duodenum defect via tube connected to balloon lumen. Defect edges are smoothed over the spherical balloon surface. Redundant tissues are excised. Suture line is modeled to enable uniform tension to take place. The balloon is withdrawn before putting in the last suture. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in repairing normal spherical shape of the bulb.
