A drive device for hybrid vehicle capable of preventing a motor performance from lowering by shortening an axial dimension and increasing the centering accuracy of a rotor,wherein a rotor support plate(15)having a flat disk part(15b)is fixed to the front cover(32)of a start device(5)such as a torque converter with set blocks(67)and bolts(69)at the disk part,the forward part of the start device is supportedly centered by allowing a center piece(33)to be fitted into a crank shaft(3),and the rotor(13)is centered by allowing a support plate hub(15a)to come into contact with the center piece(33)in a narrow area(33c)near a fixed plane(P)of the disk part(15b)to the set blocks(67).
