A cableless mouse [14] is used to communicate with a personal computer [20]. The mouse is powered by rechargeable batteries and these are maintained by a charger circuit powered from the computer and built into a docking cradle [15] in which the transmitter circuitry is. When inserted into the cradle the mouse engages electrical contacts [94,95].
