MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY FOR PORCINE ROTAVIRUS, HYBRIDOMA CELL LINES PRODUCING THE SAME, AND IMMUNOLOGICAL METHOD AND KIT FOR DETECTING PORCINE ROTAVIRUS

PURPOSE: A monoclonal antibody for porcine rotavirus, hybridoma cell lines producing the same, an immunological method and a kit for detecting porcine rotavirus are provided, thereby rapidly and correctly diagnosing infection of porcine rotavirus. CONSTITUTION: The rat monoclonal antibody is capable of specifically binding with a protein VP6 of porcine rotavirus. The hybridoma cell lines RV5(KCTC 1034BP) and RV18(KCTC 1035BP) produce the rat monoclonal antibody for protein VP6 of porcine rotavirus. The method for detecting the infection of porcine rotavirus comprises the steps of: injecting the hybridoma cell lines into a rat; collecting abdominal dropsy containing hybridoma cell lines; centrifuging the abdominal dropsy to obtain the monoclonal antibody for protein VP6 of porcine rotavirus; contacting a sample with the monoclonal antibody; and detecting the rotavirus-antibody complex.
