PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for casting an aluminum with a casting metallic mold with which generation of magnesium nitride is performed in a short time and the consumption of nitrogen gas can be reduced. SOLUTION: The apparatus 20 for casting the aluminum, is provided with an air exhausting part 40, in which the air in a cavity 25 is exhausted, an inert gas introducing part 45, in which the inert gas is introduced into the cavity 25 exhausting the air, a magnesium introducing part 50, in which gaseous magnesium is introduced into the cavity 25 after introducing the inert gas, a nitrogen introducing part 60, in which the heated nitrogen gas is introduced into the cavity 25 after introducing the gaseous magnesium, and a control unit 70, in which the inner part of the cavity 25 is adjusted to a prescribed pressure by controlling each of the air exhausting part 40, the inert gas introducing part 45, the magnesium introducing part 50 and the nitrogen gas introducing part 60.
