PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct prescribed beam control even when an own vehicle runs out of a guide route, in addition to beam control using a route guidance function for a navigation system, in a headlight system for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The beam control is conducted by a navigation-interlocked mode corresponding to the guide route (S9), when no intersection exists in front for a while (NO in S8) in the condition where the own vehicle travels along the guide route (YES in S6). Beam is properly emitted thereby toward a front side road face of the vehicle, without requiring complicated calculation for the beam control. When an intersection exists in front of the guide route (YES in S8), the beam is controlled by an ordinary mode (control mode other than the navigation-interlocked mode) (S10). The beam control itself is continued thereby even when the own vehicle runs out of the guide route, when passing through the intersection, to emit properly the beam toward the front side road face of the vehicle.
|
