PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for ink jet recording which has a large ink absorption speed, and hence no deterioration of an image quality, which obtains an image having a high gloss after fixing and in which a fault such as film peeling or the like up to a fixing operation or by itself does not occur. SOLUTION: The method for ink jet recording uses a recording medium having an ink absorption layer provided on a support and its front layer having a layer containing a thermoplastic resin and organic or inorganic fine particles. In this method, a surface tension of at least one type of an ink of a recording ink jet is 25 to 50 mN/m. |
