A SCHEMA FOR SQL STATEMENTS

A schema is provided for Structured Query Language statements. Advantageousl y, through the use of this schema as a common model, different tools can be implemented to provide value-add functions on top of the common model. This invention allows tools that are interested in querying meta data to work off a higher abstraction model than is the norm.
