The fabrication of artificial sails comprises forming in a mould with an aluminium exterior (4) and a plastics interior (1). The exterior (4) has hinges (4.1), lugs (4.2) and bolts (4.3) and top cavities (4.4). EMBODIMENT - The cylindrical interior (1) also serves as the rod of the sail made from poured liquid stearin (5). A new interior (1) is required for each successive fabrication.
