PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal which can suppress the power consumption of a liquid crystal display part. SOLUTION: This mobile communication terminal is provided with a means for setting the display mode of the liquid crystal display part to a power saving mode corresponding to the start of a speaking state in the equipment or after the lapse of fixed time without any operation from the start of a waiting state.
