PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which disuses a secondary battery pressing tool for an assembling operation or a re-assembling operation after checking and repairing when manufacturing, and easy to carry out the re-assembling operation even a battery case of the secondary battery is more or less deformed. SOLUTION: For the secondary battery formed by arranging one or a plurality of square-shaped secondary batteries in line, and housing them in a frame body, a pressing plate is inserted into a gap formed by a side face of the secondary battery located at the end part of the column arranged in the column direction, and a face of frame body facing the side face, and the pressing plate is constructed so as to press the secondary battery in the direction of row by relatively changing the position of the pressing plate against the frame body.
