PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problem of flicker by reducing the moot points of a frame rate multiplier in a random row access type imager. SOLUTION: A flicker decrease system for the random row access type imager has a memory connected to the imager and a controller connected to the memory and the imager. Preferably, the controller is programmed to interleave a stripe having a plurality of horizontal lines by each of inverse polarities on the imager concerning a present frame, and further programmed to overwrite a plurality of horizontal lines in each of stripes concerning the following frame on a plurality of other horizontal lines having the polarity inverse to that of a plurality of horizontal lines concerning the present frame.
