PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator allowing a user to surely and easily discharge static electricity collected in his/her body, without feeling an electric shock. SOLUTION: The static eliminator comprises a contact type discharge electrode and a non-contact type static output electrode both of which are electrically connected in parallel with a static input electrode, with a high resistor electrically connecting both types of electrodes in series with a hollow case made of insulating material.
