PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle common-use system which securely manages vehicle renting by a user in a parking area without any communication between a vehicle and a control room. SOLUTION: The vehicle common-use system which rents out a common-use vehicle 2 parked in a port to the user is provided with: a gate which restricts the entry and exit of the vehicle into and from the port and which is provided in the entrance of the port; and a port managing device 7 which is provided together in the port so as to manage the vehicle. The port managing device 7 is equipped with a vehicle renting-out decision means which judges whether the vehicle may be rented out according to the ID number of the user sent from the vehicle, a vehicle return decision means which decides whether the port that the vehicle arrives at is a destination set to the vehicle to judge whether the vehicle may be returned, and a vehicle restriction device control means which controls the gate as the vehicle renting-out decision means decides that the vehicle may be rented out to allow the vehicle to exit and controls the gate as the vehicle return decision means decides that the vehicle may be returned to allow the vehicle to enter the port.
