PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device using a light-guiding plate which has a lower power consumption and fewer heat generation than the prior arts and has a longer life of light source. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 comprises a light-guiding plate 2 and a plurality of LED lamps 3 that are provided along the one side end of the light-guiding plate 2, and the light-guiding plate 2 is constructed into a light-emitting surface of which the front face 2a is treated in mirror face, and a plurality of dent grooves 5 (light diffusion means) are provided on the back face 2b opposed to this front face 2a. It is so constructed that the light emitted from each LED lamp 3 and has entered inside the light-guiding plate 2 is reflected by each dent groove 5 and emitted outside from the front face 2a of the light-guiding plate 2. |
