PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout device in which the allocation of character strings to a plurality of allocation frames is facilitated. SOLUTION: By making a computer comprising the layout device run the layout program, first, the first text file of a configuration dividing a plurality of character strings with divisions is read (S14), the division of character strings is searched from that first text file, and character strings before and after such a division are set as two character string blocks of mutually different references (S15). A plurality of set character string blocks are made correspondent to a plurality of allocation frames preset to a document and a plurality of character string blocks are allocated to a plurality of allocation frames (S16).
