PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout device in which the allocation of data to a plurality of allocation frames is facilitated. SOLUTION: By making a computer comprising the layout device run the layout program, data set file is selected (S14) first in which each reference of a plurality of data is described. Next, at least one of a plurality of allocation frames defined to a document with prescribed arrangement is selected and with that selected allocation frame as a starting point, each of a plurality of data of which the references are described in the selected data set file is allocated to any one of a plurality of allocation frames.
