PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system for design assets which enables a user to increase productivity for retrieving IT information. SOLUTION: An IP information retrieval system 11 generates information DB 27a being classified by session, which is extracted with the limitation users can use, in accordance with the public opened group the users belong to. Consequently, the IP information retrieval system 11 does not execute a judgment of whether or not to permit each user to publicly retrieve the information at retrieval implementation item. However, the information retrieval system retrieves an IP catalogue data to match with function data required by the users from the generated information DB 27a being classified by session, obtains the IP catalogue data, and provides it to the users.
