PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive memory card connecting device with the automatic insertion-discharging function, capable of smoothly and surely inserting a memory card. SOLUTION: This memory card connecting device is composed of a movable tray 7 for placing the memory card 200, a casing 1 having an outlet-inlet 16 of the movable tray 7, card connector 3 set in the casing 1, and a tray driving part 6 for transferring the memory card 200 to a connecting position with the card connector 3 or a discharge position outside of the casing 1 by driving the movable tray 7. A general-purpose article having a header part 24, for juxtaposing a plurality of contactors 23 in prescribed arrangement and a guide frame 25 for guiding insertion of the memory card 200, is used as the card connector 3. The movable tray 7 is provided with a holding space 68 of the memory card 200 and an inserting space 57 of the card connector 3. |
