PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device which can move a member for conveyance along a curved conveyance path. SOLUTION: This conveyance device is equipped with the curved conveyance path 904, a holding member 912 which holds and moves the member 910 for conveyance along the curved conveyance path 904, a holding member operating mechanism for operating the holding member 912, a holding-direction determining means including three arrays of permanent magnets 912m1 to 912m3 for holding-direction determination fitted rotatably to the holding member 912, and a guide means including one array of guide permanent magnets 940 for determining the direction of the holding member 912. The permanent magnets for holding-direction determination have magnetic poles different from those of adjacent arrays. The permanent magnets for holding-direction termination in the intermediate array and the guide permanent magnets in the one array have mutually different opposite magnetic poles and the direction of the holding member is determined according to the magnetic force between the permanent magnets for holding-direction determination and the guide permanent magnets.
