<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner having preferable fixing property, high transfer efficiency, little fog, excellent electrification stability and high image density even for long-term use in a high temperature and high humidity environment, and hardly causing ghost or trailing, and to provide a method for manufacturing the magnetic toner. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner contains at least a binder resin, magnetic powder and a sulfur-containing polymer and has 3 to 10μm weight average particle size, >=0.970 average circularity and 5 to 60 mass% tetrahydrofuran insoluble content of the resin component. The ratio of E/A, wherein A is the amount of carbon element present on the surface and E is the amount sulfur element present on the surface satisfies the relation of 3×10<-4> <=E/A<=50×10<-4> .</p> |
