PURPOSE: A method and system for servicing a public Internet is provided to use a public Internet without using a copper coin or a payment card. CONSTITUTION: A public Internet server(2) is connected to the Internet(1). A wireless telephone managing server(5) is connected to the public Internet server(2) through the Internet(1) or a private line. A user terminal(3) is public Internet contents on a personal computer connected to a public Internet site or a public Internet terminal connected to the public Internet server(2) through a private line, a LAN, or a local communication network. An Internet user managing DB(4) is constructed in the public Internet server(2). A user managing DB(4) stores and manages a user ID, a password, a selection option, and Internet usage information. A subscriber managing DB(6) includes a public Internet user account besides a subscriber telephone number, a password, an address, a name, a payment date, etc. The user ID of the Internet user managing DB(4) stores a telephone number of the subscriber managing DB(6) being supplied in the wireless telephone managing server(5). The user password of the Internet user managing DB(4) stores the password of the subscriber managing DB(6) being supplied in the wireless telephone managing server(5) or a voice mailing service password.
