PURPOSE: To provide a capacitor for alternator and a manufacturing method therefore, capable of restraining insulation failures due to infiltration of salt water or the like, and of shortening the manufacturing time. CONSTITUTION: In molding a brush holder 30 which is a resin molded part used in an alternator, a capacitor element 35 is integrally molded with a capacitor positive terminal 36a and a negative terminal 36b crimp jointed onto a positive terminal 37a and a negative terminal 37b respectively. The capacitor element 35 is embedded in a first resin part 38.
