<p>Resin comprises a polycarbonate of a dihydric phenol contng uniformly throughout 0.01-0.50 wt % of an epoxidised cycloaliphatic contng (a) 1-2 cycloaliphatic rings of 6C with at least one epoxy group in at least one ring (b) 6-30C, and (c) C.H and O only. The polycarbonate resin is pref. of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane and phosgene. The epoxidised cycloaliphatic is pref 3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3,4-epoxycyclohexane carboxylate. Resin is colour stable at high temps.</p> |
