PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently erect a rotary screwed pile with a spiral excavating blade on the outer periphery of a tip part by simplifying the mounting work process of the rotary screwed pile. SOLUTION: A chuck cylinder 9 is operated to make an inner diameter between a plurality of chuck collars 14 slightly larger than the diameter of a body 13a of the rotary screwed pile 13, and the rotary screwed pile is lifted by a crane to allow the excavating blade 13b to face a recessed groove 14a and then to pass through it so as to be positioned below the chuck collars 14. The chuck cylinder 9 is operated to grip the body of the rotary screwed pile by the inner peripheral surfaces of a plurality of chuck collars. A casing tube rotating device 5 is then rotated to erect the rotary screwed pile.
