<p>An ultrasonic transducer probe (12) uses one or more ribbon cables (100) to attach the transducer elements (312) to the probe wiring. Electrical conductors within a first ribbon cable (100-1) attach to corresponding lands (410) on an end of an integrated circuit (310) and, electrical conductors within additional ribbon cables attach to corresponding lands (404) on circuit boards (308). The circuit boards (308) distribute the electrical signals from the attached ribbon cables to additional lands (410) on another end of the integrated circuit (310).</p> |
